The Town of Solon is currently accepting Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Proposals (RFQ) or Invitation for Bids (IFB) from qualified individuals for the following projects (through dates listed). They can also be found in the Documents section of the website.

- 25001 RFQ - Seeking RFQ from qualified engineering firms to provide design, bidding, construction administration for the replacement of water lines on Ferry Street in Solon, Maine (05/07/2025)
- 25002 IFB - Seeking bids to build a roof over the gable end ramp at the Town Office (05/07/2025)
- 25003 IFB - Seeking bids to replace metal siding, paint and repair roof of the Public Works Garage (05/07/2025)

Notice to Contractors
Bid packets are available at Solon Town Office 121 S Main St, on the Town’s website www.solon.maine.gov or via e-mail at townofsolon.assistant@gmail.com. Bids must be sent through U.S. Mail or Express Mail, or hand delivered, e-mailed, or faxed to 207-643-2864. Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted.
The Town is not liable for any cost incurred by the bidder in connection with the preparation of submission of a proposal. The Town of Solon, Maine reserves the right to accept any proposal and to reject any and all pro-posals.
