Are you interested in running for Local Office

• Elected Offices include:

  • Board of Selectman/Assessor/Overseer: 3-year-term, must be a resident of Solon, over age 18
  • RSU 74 Board of Directors: 3-year-term, must be a resident of Solon, over age 18
  • Road Commissioner: 1-year-term, Must be over age 18

• Nomination papers

  • Available 100 days prior to our annual town meeting (1st Saturday in March)
  • Return to the Clerk no later than 60 days prior to our annual town meeting.
  • Signatures of 25-75 registered voters (Solon residents only) are required; 30-35 suggested
  • Election held before the annual town meeting on the first Saturday in March
